Serving clients in the Chicago area now since 2000, Julea started her business in San Francisco, after years in the software industry as a trainer and consultant. Julea's design philosophy is - "Use existing furnishings, family treasures, and recent finds - pull them all together with a great interior arrangement, a magnificent color palette, a new piece or two and a bit of the unexpected." Initially an interior arrangement & home staging business, Reinventing Space has grown, and now offers more traditional design services, but always with a custom twist. These custom offerings create a perfect mix for her clients, making client's homes rich with personality and distinctive, without breaking the bank.
Julea has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Psychology from Bradley University, with a minor in Fine Arts. Mix together specialty training from the Interior Arrangement and Design Association, and her unique ability to create interiors by treasuring the past, infusing new pieces, and blending a touch of traditional design - she makes a perfect recipe for a beautiful home.

Susan Powell
Susan is a Prairie State Design Graduate. As part of the Reinventing Space team, she brings over 24 years of experience in retail merchandising and design. Susan specializes in creative and clever space planning and organization. She is also an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO.)
Denise Lough
Denise holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NIU. With over 20 years of creative experience as a graphic designer in the advertising field, Denise brings with her color expertise, superb shopping techniques and an acute sense of style.
